20th Century Fox TV Names Two New Programming Executives

Reena Singh joins as Vice President, Current Programming and Anand Shah named Vice President, Comedy Development

Twentieth Century Fox Television has added Reena Singh as vice president of current programming and Anand Shah as vice president of comedy development, the company announced Wednesday.

Singh will report to SVP of current programming Carolyn Cassidy and Shah will report to EVP of development Michael Thorn.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Reena to Twentieth Century Fox Television current programming,” said Cassidy in a statement. “She is a smart, thoughtful and outgoing creative executive with great talent relationships. She has already made an impact on her shows and will no doubt help us grow the next generation of innovative hits here at 20th.”

“Anand has great taste and encyclopedic knowledge of up and coming writers and comedians,” added Thorn. “He has a proven track record of success working with top producers within the creative community making him a fantastic addition to our comedy development team at the studio.”

Singh recently served as a development and current executive at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions. She began her career at Disney/ABC as a producer for ABC Network News, an entertainment associate at ABC Network and then as a development executive at Disney Channel.

Shah joins the studio after most recently serving as vice president at Ben Stiller‘s Red Hour Films. Before that he worked as creative consultant at Barnstorm Pictures, VP of development and production at FilmColony and held positions at Unique Features, Paramount Pictures and Creative Artists Agency.
