Fox released Tuesday another explosive promo — and new poster — for upcoming event series “24: Live Another Day.”
This time around, Jack Bauer has resurfaced after four years off the grid to stop an assassination attempt on the U.S. President on London soil. Of course, the powers that be believe that Bauer is in town to do more harm than good to POTUS. Cue conflict.

The assassination ploy turns out to be just a cog in a much bigger terrorist plot — one that Bauer is short on time to stop. After all, this is “24.”
“If the American president is killed on foreign soil, you’re looking at a world war,” the hero and fugitive warns Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) in the below clip.
The 12-episode event series detonates on Fox May 5.
