‘This is 40’ Trailer: Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann Laugh in the Face of Domesticity (Video)

Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann grow older — but don't necessarily grow up — in "This Is 40" sneak peek

Midlife crises are a real drag — unless you're Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. Then they're hilarious.

Rudd and Mann star in Judd Apatow's upcoming "This Is 40," which attempts to wring a few chuckles out of the fact that, once you hit a certain age, your life totally gets boring and filled with mundane activities like making sure your kids are well-nourished and that they have a roof to sleep under.

In the film, Rudd and Mann reprise their "Knocked Up" roles of Pete and Debbie, picking up after the events of the 2007 film to see how they're adapting to — gasp! — grown-up responsibilities.

At the very least, viewers are treated to the sight of Rudd with a starfish shoved down his tighty-whities.

"This is 40," which also stars Albert Brooks, Jason Segel and Megan Fox, hits theaters Dec. 21. Check out the trailer below.
