‘Game of Thrones’ Star Emilia Clarke Shows Her ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ Style

Emilia Clarke will star on Broadway as Holly Golightly in Richard Greenberg's adaptation of Truman Capote's classic "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Emilia Clarke is used to showing skin in the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones." But it appears she's classing up her wardrobe a bit for her upcoming Broadway debut in "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

Jason BellClarke will star as Holly Golightly in Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg's adaptation of Truman Capote's classic novella-turned-movie. She'll have big shoes to fill as most of the world remembers Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie about a flighty New York socialite and her writer friend, Paul Varjack, whom she refers to as "Fred."

On Wednesday, the first pictures of Clarke as Holly were released (right).

Cory Michael Smith, who is currently appearing off-Broadway in Samuel D. Hunter's in "The Whale" at Playwrights Horizons, has been cast at Fred.  Additional casting has not yet been set.

Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on "Game of Thrones," received a SAG Award nomination in 2011 along with the cast of the fantasy series. "Game of Thrones" did not make the cut at this year's SAG Awards.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's" is scheduled to begin previews March 4, 2013, with opening set for March 20 at the Cort Theatre.
