The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Dick Clark Productions will present the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 — more or less the exact same Sunday as this year’s ceremony.

The show will be hosted by Golden Globe Award winners Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the third year in a row.

“Tina and Amy certainly helped us garner the highest rated audience in over a decade and we are excited to have them back next year,” said Paul Telegdy, president, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment.

Produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the HFPA, the Golden Globe Awards are viewed in more than 160 countries worldwide.

On Jan. 10, “The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards” earned a 6.5 rating/16 share in the advertiser-sought adults 18-49 demographic and 20.9 million viewers overall. It was the top-rated “Globes” in the key demo since 2007 and equaled a 10-year high in total viewers.

Last month’s “Globes” handed NBC its largest audience in the Sunday 8-11 p.m. ET time period in 10 years, excluding sports.
