If you don’t know Brian Grazer by name — or hair –you will know him by his iconic movies that have been a cornerstone in Hollywood for more than three decades.

Getting his start in the ’80s, Grazer found a successful partnership with legendary director Ron Howard, which eventually turned into the powerhouse production company Imagine Entertainment.

Ever curious and ever ambitious, the Southern California born-and-bred producer led his career through every genre and niche imaginable, including the underground hip-hop scene in “8 Mile,”  a subject he has since continued to develop in FOX’s breakout show “Empire.” Grazer recently released “A Curious Mind” a book co-written with business journalist Charles Fishman which includes insights into the success of many of his career’s biggest hits, including the nine following films.

Splash, 1984

Parenthood, 1989

Kindergarten Cop, 1990

Apollo 13, 1995

The Nutty Professor, 1996

A Beautiful Mind, 2001

8 Mile, 2002

Friday Night Lights, 2004
