‘Real Housewives of OC’s’ Vicki Gunvalson Escapes $250K Lawsuit, Ex-Beau Not So Lucky

The Bravo star has resolved her differences with her Vicki's Vodka partner, but the suit against Brooks Ayers is still pending

The $250,000 fraud and breach-of-contract lawsuit against Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson has been dismissed — but ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers isn't in the clear.

"Mr. [Robert] Williamson and Ms. Gunvalson have reached an agreed-upon resolution of the matter," Williamson's attorney Stan Johnson told TheWrap in a statement. "As a result, Mr. Williamson has dismissed Ms. Gunvalson from the lawsuit."

Johnson also stated that "as a result of this resolution they have both decided to move forward with Vicki's Vodka as a unified team."

For viewers who have accused Gunvalson of being taken in by Ayers' charm, the housewife's agreement with Williamson doesn't include her ex.

"David Brooks Ayers is still an active defendant in the litigation and has not been dismissed from the case," Johnson said.

The lawsuit filed in June accused Gunvalson of gifting 16.67 percent of the Vodka business to Ayers without informing Williamson. It also accuses Ayers of selling his portion of the business back to Williamson, who called it an act of fraud.

Previously, Gunvalson called the suit "frivolous" and threatened to countersue if Williamson didn't drop the case.
