Univision's lineup matches Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" for second
"America's Got Talent" delivered an outright win Tuesday night for NBC, as Univision's slate matched Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/6 share in the advertiser-sought-after 18-49 demographic and first in total viewers with an average of 7.4 million, according to preliminary numbers.
After a rerun, "America's Got Talent" at 9 p.m. got a 2.5/7 and 9.3 million viewers, making it the highest-rated and most-watched show of the night.
Fox and Univision tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.3/4. Fox was third in total viewers with 4 million. Univision was fifth in viewership with 3.2 million.
A two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance" beginning at 8 was the only show on Fox's primetime schedule.
ABC was in fourth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and in total viewers with 3.6 million. It aired a new episode of "Extreme Weight Loss" at 8, earning a 1.2/4 and 3.9 million viewers. A rerun followed.
CBS, still blacked out by Time Warner Cable in a retransmission dispute, aired entirely repeats. It landed fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3 but second in viewers with 6.3 million.
The CW was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers 1.6 million. "Whose Line Is it Anyway" at 8 received a 0.9/3 and 2.3 million viewers. After a rerun at 8:30, "Capture" at 9 earned a 0.3/1 972,000.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in total viewers, with 1.2 million.
