Mark Wahlberg is in talks to join Netflix’s “Triple Frontier,” TheWrap has learned.

The “Transformers” franchise star would replace Ben Affleck in the J.C. Chandor border thriller, two individuals familiar with the project said.

Affleck remains a producer on the film, which has also seen exits from actors Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum and originally-attached director Kathryn Bigelow.

Atlas Entertainment is producing the Netflix original, who inherited the project from Paramount.

Wahlberg will next be seen in “Daddy’s Home 2,” and is currently in production on Ridley Scott’s ensemble drama “All the Money in the World.”
