Goin’ Fast and Furious With Gaga

No pants? No problem for Lady Gaga, who writhed and rocked her way around L.A. in little more than a pair of high-waisted briefs.

On Wednesday night, she brought her Madonna-like antics to Apple Lounge, where she performed hits “Poker Face” and “Just Dance” for Star magazine’s Hot Young Hollywood issue.

A mere day before the platinum blonde dynamo kicked off her “Fame Ball” tour, she tested out her appeal on the crowd of reality TV stars, including “The Hills” girls and “Dancing With the Stars” contestants past and present. Gaga also popped up at Foxtail that night to belt out a cover song for DJ Reflex: “Happy Birthday.”

With her sunglasses on, she hobnobbed with fellow theatrics lover Kanye West, Heavy D and Paul Oakenfold. Then, on Friday the 13th, Kelly Osbourne and Leann Rimes showed up to catch her show at the Wiltern …

Even though "Fast and Furious" won’t have its U.S. release until April 3, fierce foursome Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Vin Diesel got fans’ engines running at the premiere at Universal’s City Walk on Thursday. Director Justin Lin, Marc Shmuger and David Linde also rounded out the list of attendees.

The night before, the Rock worked his eyebrows at the "Race to Witch Mountain" premiere at the El Capitan Theatre, which ended with a dessert reception at the Annex for guests including AnnaSophia Robb, Carla Gugino and Amanda Bynes. Then, on Friday, the former wrestler showed up at a San Diego movie theater with director Andy Fickman and producer Andrew Gunn to shower the audience with tickets to Disneyland as part of Disney’s newly launched Opening Weekend Surprise program.

Michael Ovitz showed some paternal pride at his daughter’s first trunk show at Satine boutique on Thursday night. Dustin Hoffman’s son, Jake, manned the turntables as the designer racked up more than $5,000 in pre-sales of the fall ‘09 collection. Across town at Todd and Katie Traina’s home in the Hills, Emile Hirsch and Ben Affleck surrounded themselves with a gaggle of hot Hollywood moms including Angie Harmon, Anna Getty, Diane Lane, Nicole Richie and Robin Wright Penn at EcoMom’s Sowing Hope in Congo party …

Saturday night, famed jazz bassist Charlie Haden performed at a gala to mark the five-year anniversary of Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theatre. The well-heeled guest list included Natalie Portman (pictured above), Eli Broad, David Linde, Mark Bradford, Mark Murphy and Michael Lynton.

Finally, on Sunday, 13,000 people strapped on their tennis shoes for the 13th annual Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure for breast cancer at the Rose Bowl. Taylor Hicks serenaded the bunch, which included hosts Emily Procter, Judy Reyes and Poppy Montgomery …
