Jaleel White, who played Urkel for nine years on ABC's "Family Matters," and Joel Zwick, who directed "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," are making a movie together.
White wrote "Did U Get My Text," about a couple who meets and falls in love by text message. He's also producing, along with Empire Film Group CEO Dean Hamilton Bornstein.

Zwick, who directed 31 episodes of "Family Matters" — including "Throw Urkel From the Train" — is directing.
White will have a small role in the film, which goes into production in late summer.
