Shia LaBeouf claims he’s ready for different transformative direction.
The actor told the Associated Press on Friday that he's “done” with the blockbuster “Transformers” franchise.
"I'm sure they'll make more of them,” he continued. “It's still a very hot franchise, there's still value in it. I think people will still go to see it. I just don't know if I have anything to contribute."

Paramount's latest "Transformers” film, “Dark of the Moon" had a solid third full day at the domestic box office on Friday, grossing $32.9 million, according to studio estimates.
The Friday performance earned the Michael Bay-directed sequel $97.6 million since it premiered with sneak peeks at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The franchise also contributed to LaBeouf’s romantic exploits: The actor told recently Details that he and actress Megan Fox hooked up while shooting the movie.

"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them,” LaBeouf reasoned. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
A rep for Fox confirmed to the press Friday that LaBeouf’s comments are indeed true, making sure to add that Megan had briefly split up with on-again off-again boyfriend Brian Austin Green (whom she married last June) during the "Transformer"-fling.
LaBeouf, who recently weighed-in on Fox's sexual discomfort around director Michael Bay during shooting, told Details that he might not have known about Fox’s relationship status:
"I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. . . . It was what it was."
