Jimmy Kimmel’s Emotional Farewell to Uncle Frank (Video)

Late-night funnyman breaks down during tribute to his deceased relative

Typically, Jimmy Kimmel is all about the laughs. But on last night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the funnyman took time out to honor his "Uncle Frank" Potenza, a regular on his late-night series who passed away late last month at the age of 77.

Kimmel's tribute to Potenza included a montage of his best moments on the show, set to the strains of Frank Sinatra's "My Way." But before that, Kimmel made a teary-eyed show of gratitude to the audience for welcoming his relative on the show.

"Thanks to all of you who came to the show and who watched for indulging me for letting me put my crazy uncle on television," Kimmel said through the tears.
