"Avengers" fans, assemble: The trailer for the 2012 film is out, and leaves no doubt about the most charismatic Marvel hero on film.
Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury, uniting Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who turns ever so momentarily into the Hulk. The villain is Thor's half-brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), whose main superpower is smirking. He looks a tad outmatched.
But don't worry, there's still plenty of conflict: In a nice pickup from Marvel's "Civil War" storyline, the good guys seem willing to fight among themselves.
"No offense, but I don't play well with others," says Iron Man, in Tony Stark mode.
"Big man in a suit of armor. Take that away — what are you?" Captain America
"Uh, genius billionaire playboy philanthropist," Stark explains.
Downey gets the majority of the lines in the trailer, and one hopes the movie.
