"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston's nomination in the Outstanding Performance by a Make Actor in a Drama Series this year marks the third year in a row that he's been up for the honor. He's also been twice nominated for a Golden Globe, and picked up an Emmy in 2008 for his portrayal of school teacher-turned-meth manufacturer Walter White in the AMC offering.

HBO's fantastical offering "Game of Thrones," which also picked up a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television series this year, also scored a Golden Globe this year, when Peter Dinklage (who won an Emmy last year for his portrayal Tyrion Lannister) walked away with a Best Supporting Actor — Series, Miniseries or Television Film trophy.

"The Good Wife" has been on a SAG streak the last couple of years, with the cast nominated in this category two years running and the series' star, Julianna Margulies, taking a win for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Drama Series in 2010 and 2011. The CBS series' Archie Panjabi won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2010, a year that saw the show nominated in nine categories, while Margulies took a win in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2011 and a Golden Globe in 2009.
