We've all wondered what it's like inside WME meetings. Apparently, Charlize Theron drops by between pitches.
Two viral videos are lighting up the Internet – or, at least, Hollywood executive suites. "Staff Meeting Video: The Movie," starring Miles Fisher, the "J. Edgar" actor behind "Pinkberry: The Movie," spoofs the high-stakes, high-pressure environment at a WME staff meeting. It made its debut following Friday's all-company staff meeting at the agency.
But there's more. While executives were busy spoofing their meeting, their assistants were busy spoofing the bosses.
Uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, "Shit Hollywood Assistants Say" reveals the day-to-day vernacular of the underlings who grease the Hollywood machine. Such as, "OK, new idea: I'm thinking 'The Artist' meets 'Chronicle,' and I'm thinking Kevin Costner.'
