Britney Spears Denies Storming Off Set in ‘X Factor’ Debut (Video)

Britney Spears denies reports that she left the judges' table in anger after a contestant butchered one of her songs

Britney Spears found herself in the middle of some silly drama almost as soon as she debuted as an "X Factor" judge.

TMZ.com reported that Spears walked off the show's set during auditions in Austin when a contestant performed a not-so-great version of her song "Hold It Against Me."

Spears tweeted in response: "#Britneywalksoff??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!"

The pop star debuted as a season two "X Factor" judge alongside fellow newbie Demi Lovato and returning judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell.

Spears and Lovato are replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were fired as "X Factor" judges — along with host Steve Jones — after the show's first season.
