John C. Reilly’s Got Game in ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Trailer (Video)

"Wreck-It Ralph," starring John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch, gives one video game villain a shot at playing the hero

John C. Reilly turns out to play a softie in "Wreck-It Ralph," though his video game character's name might suggest the opposite.

Along with fellow comic actors Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer and Sarah Silverman, Reilly takes his turn in the virtual world in Disney's animated adventure, set to smash into U.S. theaters on Nov. 2.

Reilly lends his voice to the title role as Wreck-It Ralph, a hyper-aggressive bad guy who wants to distance himself from his one-dimensional duty to destroy everything in his path in an old-school video game.

Despite his good intentions, however, he ends up unleashing a lethal enemy in a modern-day shooter game, forcing him to save the day and find his place in the video game realm.

The animation looks flawless, and with an endearing cast — who flaunt their talents in a villains' support group in the clip below — this could be another Disney hit in the making.
