Chris Pratt issued a preemptive apology Friday for any offensive things he may say or do on the upcoming press tour for “Jurassic World.”

“I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ‪[‘Jurassic World’]‬ press tour,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star wrote on his official Facebook page.

“I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry,” Pratt continued. “I swear. I’m the nicest guy in the world. And I fully regret what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s).”

“To those I (will have) offended please understand how truly sorry I already am,” he wrote. “I am fully aware that the subject matter of my imminent forthcoming mistake, a blunder (possibly to be) dubbed ‘JurassicGate’ is (most likely) in no way a laughing matter.”

Pratt also cautioned fans about how much they will be seeing him in the media in the weeks leading up to the Universal film’s June 12 release.

“Needless to say you will be seeing A LOT of me in the press in the next few weeks as I circle the globe promoting the movie in different markets around the world,” he wrote in a separate Facebook post.

“With social media the way it is and click bait marketing online you will have a front row seat to all of the promotional action if you so chose,” he continued. “There will be a lot. Dare I say too much if you actually take the time to watch it all!? I suggest you don’t. But that’s up to you.”

Pratt no doubt wants to avoid any problems like those that plagued the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” press tour. Robert Downey Jr. walked out of an interview for the film when the journalist began asking about the “Iron Man” actor’s past history of drug abuse.

Downey Jr.’s co-stars Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner earned the internet’s ire on the press tour when they referred to Black Widow, the character played by Scarlett Johansson, as a “slut” and “whore.”

For the record:  A previous version if this story misidentified Downey’s co-star as Chris Pratt instead of Chris Evans. TheWrap regrets the error.
