Mayim Bialik is on the mend after being involved in a car accident, a representative for the "Big Bang Theory" star told TheWrap.
"Mayim Bialik was in a minor car accident today," a statement provided to TheWrap reads. "[S]he is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow. She thanks everyone for their concern."

"Minor" might be a bit of an understatement: TMZ reported that the accident — which occurred at approximately noon at Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea Ave., after her car was struck by another vehicle — left Bialik with "serious injuries," with sources saying there were "tons and tons of blood everywhere" and that "her finger was almost completely severed … it was just hanging there."
However, Bialik took to Twitter late this afternoon and revealed that she would be holding onto all of her digits.
"In pain but will keep all my fingers," Bialik said, noting that her husband, Michael Stone, was typing for her. " If u wanna See pre accident me watch 'The Soup' tonight lol."
Using her injury to promote a media appearance? We'd wag our finger at Bialik over that one, but we wouldn't want her to think we were taunting her.
