Dan Aloni, the agent who was let go from Creative Artists Agency earlier this year, is seeking $5 million from his former employer, claiming that he's owed bonuses and vacation pay, according to court papers obtained by TheWrap.
A petition to compel arbitration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday notes that Aloni's 2008 employment agreement requires arbitration of all controversies "arising under, related to or in any way" connected with Aloni's employment."

The petition goes on to note that "Mr. Aloni has various claims against CAA arising out of its wrongful termination of his employment, including but not limited to CAA's refusal to pay Mr. Aloni bonuses related to his performance, CAA's refusal to pay Mr. Aloni a bonus related to CAA's transaction with TPG Capital, and CAA's refusal to pay Mr. Aloni the value of his unused vacation time. These claims, without question, arise under, relate to, or are connected with Mr. Aloni's employment (and the termination of his employment) by CAA."
However, the petition alleges, CAA has refused to abide by its own arbitration agreements, forcing Aloni to file the petition to force arbitration.
CAA did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.
The petition notes that Aloni's claims are "in excess of $5 million."
As previously reported by TheWrap, Aloni, whose clients have included "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan and David Yates ("Harry Potter"), was let go from the agency by CAA partner Richard Lovett, according to industry insiders.
Aloni subsequently moved on to William Morris Endeavor.
