Former Lucasfilm CEO to Head 3D Company REZN8

Former Lucasfilm CEO Charlie Weber helped bring Star Wars and Indiana Jones to screens

Charlie Weber, former CEO of Lucasfilm, has been named chairman of 3D animation and graphics company REZN8.

At Lucasfilm, Weber oversaw the company's special-effects shop,  Industrial Light and Magic, and helped produce "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" films.

REZN8 is a subsidiary of Stereo Vision, a 3D hardware and software company.

Weber also served as chief operating officer at Embassy Communications, a company owned by "All in the Family" producer Norman Lear, and was chairman of the consulting firm Weber Communications.

"I'm very excited about working with this terrific team that Stereo Vision's putting together," Weber said in a statement. "I'll be giving REZN8 my best attention and I'm expecting everyone to bring their A game."
