Newest ‘On the Road’ Trailer: Yes, There’s Lots of Sex and Drama on the Road

Walter Salles' adaptation of Jack Kerouac's iconic coming-of-age tale hits theaters Dec. 21

"On the Road" didn't impress critics at Cannes this year, but the newest trailer for the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's literary classic might be enough to impress potential ticket buyers.

Promised: lots of sex and drama as quick cuts navigate through the iconic coming-of-age adventure.

Glimpses of Kristen Stewart smiling seductively at Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley make it appear as if the cast enjoyed shooting the film as much as director Walter Salles hopes the audience will enjoy watching it.

And viewers might even get goose bumps listening to a raspy Sal Paradise's narration about those who "burn, burn, burn like roman candles across the night."

The film is due Dec. 21 from IFC Films.
