Chris Brown's loyal fans seem to have forgiven him for brutally beating Rihanna in 2009, but his critics have not. Following a malicious exchange on Twitter, one of his most vocal detractors is feeling the wrath of Team Breezy.
After years of directing scathing tweets at the singer, comedian Jenny Johnson finally got the Twitter feud she's been dreaming of when Brown joked on Sunday that he looked "old" for "only 23." She pounced on the opportunity to trash talk and tweeted, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s— can really age a person."
Brown bit the bait hard and proceeded to respond in a manner that has become typical of his candor with haters. Revolving around the premise of Johnson giving him oral pleasure, the tweets contain vulgar language not suitable for the workplace.
After Johnson corrected his spelling of the word "ho," she sarcastically commented, "Your mom must be so proud of you." Then the exchange went from dirty to downright disgusting (read it here if you wish).
Brown eventually declared himself the winner, but his fans seem to be the real losers. His Twitter account has since been deactivated, and Team Breezy isn't taking his absence too well.
And apparently, those folks were being nice. Other supporters of Chris Brown have gone as far as to threaten her life.
"It's alarming how many death threats I'm receiving via @ replies," Johnson tweeted in her final written response to the incident. "I encourage everyone, including @Twitter to look through them. Not cool."
Whether or not people think either party is "cool," everyone is talking about them. Elisabeth Hasselbeck called Brown's "vile, disgusting" words "verbal rape" on Monday morning on "The View," while Whoopi Goldberg blames both for "verbally assaulting each other."
