"Game of Thrones" creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss say the show's upcoming third season is the one they've hoped to get right from the beginning.

A new preview for the HBO drama — which returns March 31 — doesn't divulge anything about the plot. But Benioff and Weiss say it's pivotal to the success of the show.
"This is the season that [D.B. Weiss] and I have been anticipating from the very beginning," executive producer David Benioff reveals.
"We always envisioned season three as the place we needed to get," Weiss adds. "If we made it through season three and we could do season three right, then it would be all worthwhile."
