Mark Zuckerberg’s Sister Angry Over Facebook Privacy Breach

Randi Zuckerberg was mad at a friend who tweeted a picture she only shared with friends on Facebook

Even Mark Zuckerberg's sister is having Facebook privacy issues.

Callie Schweitzer, Vox Media's marketing director, tweeted a photo on Christmas Day of the Zuckerberg family standing around a kitchen island while testing the new Facebook "Poke" app.

Problem was, the photo was meant to be private — Randi Zuckerberg intended to share it with "Friends Only" on her brother's behemoth social network.

Schweitzer said she subscribed to Zuckerberg's public feed on Facebook and, when she saw the photo pop up, she figured it was public.

"Not sure where you got this photo. I posted it to friends only on FB," Randi Zuckerberg tweeted at Schweitzer. "You reposting it to Twitter is way uncool."

Schweitzer immediately apologized and deleted the picture.

The two later realized that Schweitzer is Facebook friends with Randi's sister, who was tagged in the photo, placing it in Schweitzer's news feed. She mistook it for a photo from Randi and posted it on Twitter.

"Digital etiquette: always ask permission before posting a friend's photo publicly," Zuckerberg tweeted later. "It's not about privacy settings, it's about human decency"
