Matt Damon to Guest on Kimmel for First Time

"We''re probably gonna beef up security that night," executive producer says

Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel will finally get to air their grievances when the actor appears as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the first time on Thursday, Jan. 24.

The two have a long history of fake feuding, going back to Damon appearing with Kimmel's then-girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, in a 2008 video entitled "I'm F—ing Matt Damon." But Damon has never appeared on the show before as a guest.

"It's been a whole long, sordid history of these two guys taking jabs at each other. So to actually have them face-to-face for the first time in late-night television history is a big deal for us," Kimmel's executive producer, Jill Leiderman, told TheWrap. "Who knows what's going to happen? To be honest with you, we're probably going to beef up security that night."
