Charlie Brown Voice Actor Pleads Guilty to Stalking (Report)

Peter Robbins faces up to three years in prison

Peter Robbins, who provided the voice of Charlie Brown on animated specials inspired by the "Peanuts" comic strip, pleaded guilty Wednesday to threatening and stalking his former girlfriend and a plastic surgeon, according to a report in City News Service.

Robbins allegedly threatened to kill his ex-girlfirend and made similar threats to the plastic surgeon who gave her breast enhancements. He faces up to three years in prison.

FacebookA spokesman for the San Diego District Attorney's office, which is prosecuting the case, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Last January, Robbins was taken into custody by border patrol officers at a crossing between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico after they discovered the voice actor was wanted by the San Diego County Sheriff's on a felony warrant.

He was later booked and charged with five felony counts.

The 56-year-old actor gave voice to Charlie Brown on several of the iconic TV specials that aired in the 1960s. His "Peanuts" work includes “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," and he also appeared on such shows as "My Three Sons" and "F Troop," according to IMDB.
