Worlds collide, dark forces are unleashed and enemies must bury their differences and team up in the new trailer for "Thor: The Dark World."
The follow-up to 2011's Marvel hit brings back Chris Hemsworth as the hammer wielding thunder god, Natalie Portman as his planet earth squeeze and Tom Hiddleston as the villainous Loki. The catch is that in this installment, Thor and Loki must combine their talents to combat an ancient and evil power.
At least we think that's what happens. It's all pretty vague.
"Ask yourself, what would you sacrifice for what you believe?" some baritoned heavy intones.
Based on the trailer, the answer to that question will involve some intergalactic battles and a liberal amount of speechifying.
"Thor: The Dark World" premieres on Nov. 8, 2013.
