"Junior MasterChef" will pair Gordon Ramsay with a bunch of kids under competitive pressure. What could go wrong?
Ready or not, you'll be seeing even more Gordon Ramsay on television soon.
Short-fused celebrity chef Ramsay has signed a new multi-year deal with Fox, which includes the "MasterChef" spin-off "Junior MasterChef."
The upcoming series will be a cooking competition "for talented kids between the ages of eight and 13," the network said.
That's right: Gordon Ramsay could be unleashing his temper on children soon. And they better not cry in their meals, because that will count against them.
The network has also picked up "Hell's Kitchen" for another season and "MasterChef" for two more seasons as part of the deal with Ramsay.
In addition to the aforementioned series, Ramsay also has the series "Hotel Hell" and "Kitchen Nightmares" with Fox.
“We have such great teams and partners on these shows, and I’m really excited we’re able to offer this new opportunity to young budding chefs across the country with 'Junior MasterChef,'" Ramsay said of the series. “Having my own children who love to cook, I know firsthand the skill and passion these kids can have at such a young age, and what they can do with it. It’s just extraordinary to watch them in action.”
