Ratings: ‘American Dad,’ ‘Revenge’ Down in Finales; CBS, ‘Survivor’ Take Top Numbers

"Celebrity Apprentice" slides to a season low and the lowest-rating ever for a celebrity edition of the series

The season finales of Fox's "American Dad" and ABC's "Revenge" took ratings hits Sunday night, while the season finale of "Survivor" was the night's top-rated show, helping to propel CBS to an overall win for the night, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS took first place in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic with a 2.2 rating/7 share and in total viewers with 9.6 million. "60 Minutes" at 7 p.m. jumped 25 percent for a 1.5/6 and was the night's most-watched program with 10.1 million total viewers.

The spring finale of "Survivor" the following hour was even with last week's episode (though down 10 percent from last spring's finale), taking the night's best ratings with a 2.6/8 and drawing 10 million total viewers. The "Survivor" reunion show at 10 posted a 2.2/6 and had 8.3 million total viewers.

ABC was second in ratings and total viewers with a 1.7/5 and 6.4 million. "America's Funniest Home Videos" at 7 posted a 1.4/5 and 6.3 million total viewers, while the season finale of "Once Upon a Time" the following hour was even with last week (though down 33 percent from last May's finale) with a 2.2/7 and 7.2 million total viewers. The two-hour season finale of "Revenge" at 9 drew a 1.6/4 — an 11 percent drop from last week and a 33 percent slide from last year's finale — and grabbed 6 million total viewers.

Fox was third in ratings and fourth in total viewers with a 1.6/5 and 3.4 million. A special airing of "The Cleveland Show" at 7 dropped 33 percent from last week's 7:30 airing for a 0.8/3 and took 1.9 million total viewers, while a second airing at 7:30 dropped 17 percent from last week to a 1.0/4 with 2.2 million total viewers. "The Simpsons" at 8 was flat with last week for a 1.9/6 and 4 million total viewers.

The season finale of "Bob's Burgers" at 8:30 was down slightly from last week, posting a 1.6/5 with 3.3 million total viewers. "Family Guy" at 9 climbed slightly versus last week to a 2.4/7 with 4.7 million total viewers, while the season finale of "American Dad" at 9:30 slid 17 percent from last week to a 1.9/5 and 3.9 million total viewers.

NBC took fourth place in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.1/3 and 4 million. Following a two-hour repeat of "The Voice" at 7, "The Celebrity Apprentice" at 9 was down 13 percent from last week, marking a season low and the lowest-rating ever for a celebrity edition of the series with a 1.3/3. Sunday's "Celebrity Apprentice" drew 4.1 million total viewers.
