The network's success stories include “Modern Family,” CBS comes up just shy with six shows on the list

ABC boasts seven of the Top 20 entertainment series on broadcast TV this season in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic — more than any other network.

Its lineup includes the third-highest-rated entertainment series, “Modern Family,” the fourth-best, “Grey's Anatomy,” No. 8 “Scandal,” No. 9 “Resurrection,” No. 13. “Once Upon a Time,” as well as “Marvel's Agents of SHIELD” and “The Bachelor,” which tie at No. 17.

An ABC spokesperson told TheWrap that he expects the positioning to hold throughout the official end of the season.

Of course, the top-heavy rankings doesn't mean that ABC is besting the competition. The network is actually in fourth place overall, among the so-called “Big 4,” third if you factor out sports.

However, it's closing strong: ABC is tied with CBS in first place since the conclusion of the Winter Olympics in the key demo.

All data below is based on Nielsen's “Most Current” data stream, which is all available live plus 7-day data. The metric uses live plus same-day numbers for the most recent two weeks.

It is important to note that “entertainment series” distinction means that the ranking does not include sports.
