Adam Glick Returns to WBTV as Head of Business Affairs

Glick replaces departing exec Dan Limerick

Warner Bros Television has named Adam Glick Executive Vice President of Business Affairs, the company announced Monday.

Glick is replacing Dan Limerick, who is exiting the company. Glick and Limerick shared the position from 2008 until 2012, when Glick then left WBTV for Warner Horizon Television, the studio’s cable arm.

“Adam has been one the studio’s top business executives for many years and has served in each of his roles with distinction,” said WBTV EVP Brett Paul in a statement. “During his recent tenure at WHTV, he expanded his expertise across all genres of programming and across all original outlets of distribution, making him an even more key player of our senior management team. Adam is known not only for his business acumen, but also for his character and integrity, as he brings with him an innate sense of fairness and trust. He has earned the respect of our community the old-fashioned way, an opinion shared throughout the industry. We look forward to his continued leadership.”

Glick returns to WBTV to serve as its lead negotiator and will oversee all of its business affairs activities. Under his new role, he will oversee the department’s staff and will manage its day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include negotiating all of the company’s deals with performers, producers, writers and directors, as well licensing deals with the various original distribution platforms for that programming.

Glick originally joined Warner Bros. Television in 1999 as Director, Business Affairs, before being promoted to Vice President in 2002, Senior Vice President in 2005 and Co-Head of Business Affairs in 2008 with Limerick.
