Adam Sandler Unveils New ‘Chanukah Song’ (Video)

List of praise-worthy Jews in new song includes Scarlett Johansson, Shia LaBeouf, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Adam Sandler has released a new version of his comedy classic “Chanukah Song.”

First debuting the tune on “Saturday Night Live” in 1994, Sandler uses the song as a way to praise prominent Jewish celebrities.

This time around, he gives shout-outs to Scarlett Johansson, Shia LaBeouf, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Seth Rogen. He also honored the founders of Google and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

“Jared from Subway: f–k, a Jew/But guess who’s Jewish and can fix him? Loveline’s Dr. Drew,” Sandler sang, referring to the former Subway pitchman who was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison on child sex crime charges.

Sandler will next appear in “The Ridiculous Six,” a Western parody film that will stream exclusively on Netflix starting Dec. 11.
