Carlton Banks is back. Or at least the man who played him is.
Alfonso Ribeiro, who enchanted the nation as Carlton on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," has been tapped to host ABC Family's upcoming competition series "Spell-Mageddon."

The one-hour game show, which begins production June 17 in Studio City, Calif., promises "a fresh spin on the spelling bee, where contestants take on hilarious distractions while spelling increasingly challenging words."
"Spell-Mageddon" will premiere July 24 at 9 p.m. Thinkfactory Media's Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Leslie Greif created the series.
