Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander has signed an open letter that calls out sexual harassment and assault in theater and film, along with more than 500 other Swedish actresses.

The letter was published in Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, and was inspired by the #MeToo campaign that swept social media in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, along with the flood of sexual misconduct allegations against other Hollywood power players that followed.

“Directors, you have failed. Producers, you have failed. Production companies, you have failed. Theatre managers, you have failed. Politicians, you have failed,” the letter says, translation per The Hollywood Reporter. “It is your responsibility to ensure that nobody is sexually abused at the workplace.”

The letter describes several instances of sexual harassment and assault, and says the actresses “will no longer be silent” about their stories.

“We will bring those responsible to account and let the justice system run its course when needed,” the letter went. “We will put the shame where it belongs – with the perpetrator and those who protect him. We know who you are.”
