Noomi Rapace Appears in ‘Alien: Covenant’ Prologue That Links Movie to ‘Prometheus’ (Video)

We finally learn the fate of Elizabeth Shaw

20th Century Fox has released a prologue for “Alien: Covenant” which bridges the gap between “Prometheus” and Ridley Scott’s upcoming film.

“After we made contact with the Engineers, the Prometheus was destroyed. All hands were lost, but I escaped with Elizabeth in one of their ships,” David (Michael Fassbender) says in a voiceover. “I was badly injured in our mission. She put me back together. I never experienced such compassion, certainly not from Mr. Weyland or any human.”

“Prometheus” ended with most of the expedition to LV-223 getting killed off, with only David and the expedition’s archaeologist, Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace), surviving. In the clip, we finally learn what Elizabeth and David got up to after the events of “Prometheus.”

The clip closes with David arriving on the Engineers’ home world. To greet their incoming guests, hundreds of Engineers are seen gathered in the docking area.

Danny McBride, Katherine Waterston, James Franco, Demian Bichir, Billy Crudup, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England and Benjamin Rigby also star in the film.

“Alien: Covenant” opens May 19, 2017.
