‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Andrew Garfield Looks Like a Lady in Arcade Fire’s ‘We Exist’ Music Video

Actor plays a transvestite who gets assaulted in a bar, then hits the stage with the band at Coachella

“Amazing Spider-Man 2” star Andrew Garfield ditches his spandex body suit for women’s clothing in Arcade Fire’s powerful new music video for “We Exist.”

The 30-year-old actor plays a small-town man experimenting with his feminine side for what appears to be the first time, and locals at a bar don’t take too kindly to it.

The video (above), which combines elements of a very real scenario threatening transvestites with a fantasy dance sequence and concert footage, was filmed at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Now a lot of confused concertgoers can finally wrap their head around what they saw that night.
