“American Idol” slipped from last week, but was still solid enough to single-handedly deliver Thursday demo ratings and total viewers victories for Fox. Adam Lambert had subbed in at the judges’ table for Keith Urban during the New York auditions, which aired last night.

CBS finished second in both metrics, despite its lineup of originals all dipping. NBC’s shows all dropped double-digits from last week.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.8/6 and in viewers with 9.2 million. Following a “Big Bang Theory” rerun at 8, which earned a primetime-best 12.1 million viewers, “Mom” at 8:30 earned a 2.4/8 and 10.8 million viewers. “Two and a Half Men” at 9 received 2.1/6 and 9.4 million viewers. “McCarthys” at 9:30 got a 1.5/4 and 6.9 million viewers. “Elementary” at 10 had a 1.3/4 and 8.1 million viewers.

Univision was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and fourth in viewers with 3.3 million.
