He also can’t understand “Australian”
Ron Burgundy is facing some nasty — and good-looking — competition in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
A new clip (above) from Paramount’s Dec. 20 release features Burgundy (Will Ferrell) meeting new colleague Jack Lime (James Marsden), who doesn’t take kindly to San Diego’s former top-rated newsman ogling him in awe.
“Oh my God! He’s absolutely magnificent,” Burgundy exclaims. “I bet his poop smells like sandalwood.”
Another clip (below) features Burgundy and the rest of the gang — Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) and Champ Kind (David Koechner) — trying their hardest to decipher an Australian accent.
Adam McKay directed the sequel to 2004’s “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” from a script he co-wrote with Ferrell.
