Annette Funicello Fun Remembered by Wrap’s Alonso Duralde (Video)

TheWrap's critic remembers the former Mouseketeer and one of her forgotten comic gems, "Back to the Beach"

Annette Funicello, the 1950s and '60s-era "Mickey Mouse Club" Mouseketeer who went on to star in beach movies with Frankie Avalon, died at the age of 70 on Monday from complications related to multiple sclerosis.

TheWrap's movie critic Alonso Duralde remembered the iconic Funicello for her contribution to the American movie canon in the video below. He especially appreciated her 1987 movie "Back to the Beach," which revisited her movies from the 1950s and '60s, and had some fun with her own image.
