“Sign your grandma up for Tinder, and sign your grandpa up for Grindr,” the ABC late-night host recommended during his monologue
Jimmy Kimmel is a huge fan of pranking people, and encouraged his viewers on Monday night to get in on the action in honor of April Fool's Day with 11 simple ideas for jokes, ranging from setting clocks back to signing your grandparents up for online dating services.
“If you're up now — you're watching while your husband or wife, your kids or parents are asleep — you have the upper hand,” Kimmel joked during the monologue (above) he delivered just before the clock struck midnight. “It's almost like they're asking you to do something to them.”
As Kimmel has done in the past, he asked viewers to catch their pranks on loved ones on camera, then upload the videos to YouTube so he could air the the best of the best on Tuesday's show.
