Are ‘Flip Or Flop’ Couple Back Together? Christina El Moussa Tells All (Video)

HGTV’s separated stars looked mighty friendly on the red carpet

The very public breakup up of “Flip or Flop” hosts Tarek and Christina Moussa over the last several months took an interesting turn when they arrived together on a Hollywood red carpet and seemed happy as two clams, igniting speculation that they’ve hooked up again.

According to Christina, that hasn’t happened… nor will it.

“I have never gone back into the ‘ex’ category,” she said on Friday’s E!’s “Daily Pop.”

Despite their split, Christina said that she and Tarek are in a good place right now and working together isn’t a problem. “We’ve made a lot of progress in our relationship,” she said. “We’re just really focused on the kids, and we’re really excited to start on 15 new episodes of ‘Flip or Flop.’”

The HGTV show will return for its seventh season with Tarek and Christina El Moussa continuing their run co-hosting together. They’ve already filmed five episodes post-separation and filming will continue through the fall.

“It’s gone really good,” Christina said. “We have a great crew. We’ve worked with them for five years. They’re the funnest, nicest, coolest guys. Everything is very light on set. But this time, I think, we’re going to incorporate a little bit about what we’re each doing in our own lives into the show, so it should be interesting.”

The couple made their split official back in December, though they had been apart since last May, shortly after Christina called police after Tarek left their house after an argument and walked into the woods near their home with a gun.

The El Moussas have made more than $5 million in profits from the houses they have flipped for the show since it began in 2013.

The pair, who share custody of two kids, also run a real estate seminar, and Christina is currently writing a book.
