Ariel Winter has once again taken aim at the media — or at least Star Magazine — for its coverage of her.

“Modern Family” star Winter fired up her Twitter account on Thursday, poking at Star Magazine for a report suggesting that she’s “desperate” for her boyfriend, actor Levi Meaden, to put a ring on her finger.

Winter’s critique came in response to a tweet from Star Magazine reading, “Is Ariel Winter Desperate For Boyfriend Levi Meaden To Propose?”

“Yes and I’m already pregnant to seal the deal,” Winter shot back. “I WILL HAVE HIM!!!!! MUAHAHAHA!”

The Star Magazine tweet included a video that declared, “Sources say Ariel Winter has been leaving hints around the house for her live-in boyfriend, Levi Meaden, that she wants to get married — and soon.”

The supposed hints include photos of engagement rings taped to the couple’s refrigerator, with hints that “she’d be happy to pay for it.”

This isn’t the first time that Winter has taken Star Magazine to task. In June, the actress lashed out at the tabloid, condemning a “fake news” report about her, and telling the magazine, “Get your s– straight.”

In a post captioned “Not cool,” Winter seethed, “I would NEVER pay my boyfriend ANY sort of allowance, nor would he EVER accept it if I offered it. He BUYS his own stuff whether it’s for me or for himself, and he more than pulls his weight for our life. I HATE fake news, but I guess that’s what our world has come to. Get your sh-t straight.”

“I don’t support anyone, and I don’t need anyone to support me,” the actress continued. “He’s got a full career (including something huge that’s new) and works hard for it. He’s not just someone’s boyfriend. So if you don’t know us, don’t comment. Xoxo.”

Winter’s social-media diatribe in June came after Star published a report that Winter is the “breadwinner” in her relationship with Meaden.

Quoting a source, the magazine reported that some of Winter’s friends “worry that she’s throwing too much cash his way … Why would he go on auditions when he can stay home and still collect a paycheck?”
