Among the performers at the Sept. 26 Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna: Michael Jackson.

 

A virtual duet between the King of Pop and one of his brothers will highlight the concert, which also will feature artists such as Mary J. Blige, Akon and Chris Brown singing Jackson tunes, it was announced Tuesday.

 

Other names announced: Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, Angela Bassett, and the Germany-based boy band US5. In addition, Jackson's original band and dancers will take part.

 

More names are expected to be added to the show, which will be staged in front Vienna's former imperial Schoenbrunn Palace, one of the Austrian capital's top tourist attractions

 

"We're very excited — the list is growing more and more," Jermaine Jackson said at the announcement in Vienna. He said organizers also were talking to artists such as Madonna, Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross, and that "many major Bollywood names" and artists from the Middle East also would be involved.

 

It was also announced Tuesday that a performance by Janet Jackson would open the the MTV Video Awards on Sunday.
