Fox Searchlight Closing in on 'Black Swan'

Fox Searchlight is close to a deal to co-finance and distribute Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan." The supernatural thriller is set in the world of New York ballet and stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.

Cross Creek Pictures would now co-finance the picture with Searchlight, replacing Rick Schwartz's Overnight Films, which is off the project. Winona Ryder has signed on to play an older dancer to Portman's and Kunis' younger performers, while Barbara Hershey and French actor Vincent Cassel are also joining the cast.
