Sean Penn called it a performance like nothing he'd seen since Marlon Brando in "Last Tango in Paris." Guillermo del Toro termed it "monumental." The 2010 Cannes jury called it the festival's best performance by an actor.

Oscar-winner Javier Bardem's starring role in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's "Biutiful," in which the Spanish actor plays a poor Everyman with the weight of the world on his shoulders, is certainly one of the year's most remarkable achievements by an actor. Bardem came to the Arclight Sherman Oaks on Tuesday night for theWrap's screening of "Biutiful" -- and afterwards, in the theater's cafe, he sat for a brief video interview.
