The conservative commentator has a long record of comparing Nazis with people who -- to put it lightly -- aren't. He is willfully dumb about history, or thinks his fans are. At best, he's a hilariously clumsy propagandist.

Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch, sister of "Colbert Report" host Stephen Colbert, lost her South Carolina special Congressional election to Republican former Gov. Mark Sanford. Sanford won 54 to 45.
Colbert had supported his sister in the race, in a district that leans strongly Republican. (The two are pictured at a fundraising breakfast.)

NBC took first place in the advertiser-preferred 18-49 demographic with a 3.3 rating/9 share and second in total viewers with 10 million. "The Voice" at 8 p.m., despite sliding 9 percent to tie a cycle low of 3.9/11, was still the top-rated show of the evening, and was the night's second most-watched show with 11.9 million total viewers. "Revolution" at 10 enjoyed a 17 percent boost over last week with a 2.1/6 and drew 10.8 million total viewers.

DirecTV announced an increase in first quarter 2013 revenues of 8 percent to $7.58 billion, beating analysts expectations of $7.5 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Net income attributable to DirecTV was $690 million, or $1.20 per share, compared with $731 million, or $1.07 per share, a year ago.
The company's profits were hit by a $166 million pre-tax charge because the company's subsidiary in Venezuela lost assets when the country's currency was devalued in February.
