Newest hire was previously president of Disney Stores Worldwide
James Fielding is joining AwesomenessTV as global head of Consumer Products and Retail.
Fielding, who previously served as chief executive officer for Claire's and president of Disney Stores Worldwide, will oversee all consumer products and retail efforts for the multi-platform media company.
“Jim is a true visionary in the retail industry and, as former CEO of Claire's, he brings a unique perspective on our target teen audience,” said AwesomenessTV's Founder and Chief Executive Officer Brian Robbins.
Added Michael Francis, Chief Global Branding Officer at DreamWorks Animation, “I'm thrilled to have Jim on board as part of our larger global CP organization. Jim is uniquely suited to position AwesomenessTV's product and retail business on a fast track to success.”

At Disney, Fielding led a complete rearchitecture of the company's brand and merchandising strategy, including worldwide store expansion, the launch of a new concept in 2010 and the development of their e-commerce business.
An 11-year veteran of Disney, Fielding also held the position of executive vice president, Global Retail Sales and Marketing for Disney Consumer Products, where he was responsible for account management, retail operations, franchise development and brand imaging for all consumer products categories.
