A Baby Gets Raptured in Teaser Trailer for Damon Lindelof’s HBO Drama ‘The Leftovers’ (Video)

Two percent of the Earth’s population is about to get “Lost.”

HBO debuted the first teaser trailer (above) for Damon Lindelof‘s upcoming supernatural drama series, “The Leftovers,” which stars Justin Theroux and Liv Tyler as people left on the planet after a Rapture-like event makes 140 million others mysteriously disappear.

The preview plays out like a documentary rattling off statistics about the seemingly small, but actually huge loss of people before we see the first disappearance: A baby named Sam.

“The Leftovers”is based on “Little Children” author Tom Perrotta‘s book of the same name. Perrotta and Lindelof co-wrote the pilot and serve as executive producers on the drama that premieres June 15 after the season finale of “Game of Thrones.”
